This tool works wonderful during reading or ELA blocks of instruction, as the passages are available to whichever specific subject area and comprehension skill an educator could possibly need. Every passage includes different reading levels, to ensure students are able to learn and use the passage in small groups or independently at a level they can be successful at, in order to enhance their comprehension and particular skill. Copyrighted work content can be searched for in creativecommons.org search engine, such as: photos, images, music clips, videos, text, articles, documents, and presentations.
EX: Zelda wants to use Tom Collins’s How to Use factmonster.com’s Dictionary document, to help demonstrate the steps needed to navigate and use its’ dictionary feature. Zelda used creatcommmons.org search engine, when she found Tom’s document. She can use and share Tom’s document legally through copyright laws, as long as Zelda gives Tom credit, by including his name with the document in her presentation.
